Step by Step

Step 1
School provides a student wellbeing plan
This is used for: 
 
- advertising position
- screening of applicants
- pre interviewing of candidates
- School based interview and school decision
- onsite and online supervision of selected worker
 
Step 2
Applicants are sourced from local community groups, TAFE / Colleges / UNI's where relevant courses are studied
 
Step 3
Applicants submit their application and documents to recruitment team for screening
 
- National Police Check
- State based Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Resume and Qualification Check against NSWP Funding Guidelines
 
Step 4
Pre interview screening of candidates to ensure quality candidates for school based interview
 
- Ensure qualifications and right heart behind each candidate
- Current funded NSWP workers conduct pre interviews 
 
Step 5
Successful applicants submitted to School Principal and School based panels for local school final decision of selection of successful candidate for the NSWP funded position
 
Step 6
Phone (remote) and onsite support provided by central office and also regional staff (where available)
